What is a chitlin' you ask?   Ok - chitlin' is short for chitterling - which is pig intestines.   A Southern delicacy and tradition.   (As you know , I'm not a true Southerner.....and FYI...... I've never had a chitlin', I'll just stick with the bbq chicken!)

Have fun if you go!   Everyone should go at least once in their life :)

Ready to move south for the winter?  Give me a call!

Future PBA Stars in the making!

Meet my nephew Jay, and his bowling teammates!   6 years old and he is well on his way to pro status!

The Three Musketeers.     When asked how they came up with their team name, Jay had this to say "Someone just wrote it on the paper, probably mommy.  Me and Jacob liked it, but Austin didn't."

Jay and his sister Lexi are both on the Saturday Park Ave Youth League at Park Avenue Lanes, Aiken SC.   Both have open bowled many times but this is their first turn at league play.   :)        (both of their parents bowl....and so does their Aunt Kara!)

Meet my neice Lexi, and her bowling teammates!    Wildcats   (do I need to tell you that they all love 'High School Musical' and that is where the team name came from, lol)

The league is divided into two divisions based on age.

Jay is in the under 8 division.  This division has the bumpers up during play, but I was watching Jay this weekend and he hardly used the bumpers!  He is going to be a great bowler like his dad :)

Lexi is in the 8+ division - they do not use the bumpers, and she has great form!  She is gonna be a great bowler too!   They have made alot of new friends and are having a great time on the league.

If you are looking for some family fun-  give bowling a spin!  Fun for ALL ages!   Join a league today!

We have two bowling centers in Aiken for your enjoyment.

Park Ave Lanes -  Downtown Aiken on Park Avenue.

Aiken Bowl -  Aiken's Southside on Whiskey Road.
