Aiken is a great little city - but every once in awhile we all need to 'get away'!
My place to go has always been the shore. Down here they call it 'the beach' :)
My favorite beach (since moving here) in SC is definitely Hilton Head Island. Just a little more than a 2 hour drive and you are at the coast - with your toes in the sand :)

It will always be the shore to us Jersey Girls Kara. I was just thinking why don't I move someplace with salt in the air and waves rolling in. Maybe someday. Love SC beaches!!!
