Now this truly a three day weekend I would love. Good to see the politicians put all that hot air to good use for a change!
hahah - that's a good one, Rich. Not too late to still make plans to come for the weekend :)
Rich cracked me up here. This sounds like fun Horses and Balloons! I hope you'll bring us pictures if you go! Have a great weekend.
dont you love Hot Air balloons???? I think they are pretty cool, One of these days I need to get a ride in one!
I actually have a 'date' tonight to go see the fireworks, lol. And I'll be sitting on Jane Pages terrace to view the hot air balloon mass ascension at 7am tomorrow! Her house is very close to the Powderhouse Field. Plan on getting lots of pics :)
Thanks Paddy - Thanks Rob - - have a great day!
Kara.. I LOVE hot air balloons. There is something about the sound they make as they fly by. I went to one event this year, and would love to come to this one... if it were just a little closer.
See you in the morning at 6:30AM for pancakes and coffee to watch the balloons fly over.
yaaaayyyy!!! can't wait Jane Page :) The fireworks were great - and the show was much longer than I expected. It was alot of fun. Now I have to go set my alarm :D See you in the morn.
Valerie, tonight was the closest I have ever been to a hot air balloon. And my friends are going up in one on Sunday morning - how cool is that! :)
Going up in a hot air balloon is one of the coolest things. You are just floating. It is so peaceful. I can't wait to go again.
Sincerely,
Bill
Oh that is so cool, Bill. Did you take any pictures while you were up there? I'm going tonight to see the 'glow' - - - and I'll be posting some pics :)
Thanks for stopping by - have a great day :)
Jack Russell races? OMG! That in itself should be called "The Cute Festival". But whoever came up with the idea of mixing horse races and hot air balloons?
I don't know who came up with it Lisa, but it has been alot of fun so far. I'll be headed there at 4! Those dogs are sooooo cute :)
