Surgery went well...... I am alive!

Thank you ALL for your thoughts, prayers, well wishes.....etc.

                          thank you note

For my friends who didn't know (I'm sorry I didn't personally tell you---- there was just so much going on) - but hopefully you got a chance to see one of these:     one          two

Give me a few days, and I'll be dancing in the rain with you again :)

                      dancing in the rain.

And now, back to bed for me!

Thanks again - I love you all :)

Kara,

I don't think the second link will work for anyone who is not a member of our SM&RE group, because it's a private group, so I am copying it here for those who want to read it, but can't.

GBless Kara!

Our beautiful Kara had surgery today (that mean ol' nasty gallbladder, or GB as Gregory refers to it).

We all said a little prayer for Kara and I am certain that all went well.

Kara, when your fingers decide to touch the keyboard again, please come back here and let us know how you're doing!

In the meantime, I've made a list of how much you will NOT need your gall bladder:

A woman needs her gallbladder as much as a fish needs a bicycle.

With one big organ gone, it's so much easier to have a flat stomach.

"Gall" means bitter or severe.  Without it, you're that much sweeter now!

Please add to the list!

Kara, we look forward to hearing from you!

Kara:  I am so glad all went well!

Your comment to this blog on our SM group board was really funny and made me laugh.

This is a lovely and thoughtful blog.

You are a true Optimist: you've maintained your good attitude and your sense of humor through it all!  I'm proud of you!

Thanks Mirela -  I wasn't thinking about the private group thing.   -      as far as the other comment, lol - it's the truth- it really isn't fair, lol.   My doctor was in stitches, hahaha  (then he gave me some, lol)

Hi Charles -  I hope your son is doing well ---  how long before I can stand up straight - and sleep on my tummy, lol.

Hey John  - thank you :)     I'm hoping for a speedy recovery!

Hi Kara-I knew you were having a lot of trouble but didn't realize it was your gallbladder. I had a friend that had her taken out. It will be much better for you now. I'll say a prayer for your quick and speedy recovery as Christmas is just around the corner. Glad the surgery went well Rest my fav Aiken gal, :-)

How freaky. My favorite agent in our office was struck down by the same ailment last week. Good luck in your recovery.

Kara - Nothing hurts more than having gall bladder problems. My girl just went through the same thing, having hers out in the fall, and until she did, she was in so much pain all the time. Thankfully, she, and now you, are all right and back in action!

Happy holidays to you and yours......
