This is a beautiful setting. Please tell me they don't actually hunt the foxes.

Kara.. I never knew they did this in Aiken?  Your town is exciting.  Ok, I'm ready to move, but what do I do with my sons???  I can't take them, nor can I leave them behind.

Hi Rich - The Aiken Hounds do NOT do a live hunt...but there are other clubs in the area that do.  The Aiken Hounds do what is called a 'drag' hunt.  They drag the scent thru the woods and the dogs follow the scent....and the horses follow the dogs...and the riders hang on for dear life, lol.! (well, that would be me.... these ladies and men know what they are doing, lol)

Hey Valerie -  We are a very diverse community!  The foxhunting tradition started here about a hundred years ago :)      Maybe the boys could 'stow away' in your suitcase, lol.
