Good Morning :)       Things are starting to happen again next door.  They are making some noise!    It seems like it has been quiet for soooo long.  

Yesterday some equipment was delivered - and a load of stone..... and today several more loads of stone.

I must need some new batteries for my camera because they just don't seem to hold a charge very long anymore.    Soooo -  these pics will have to do for now, lol.

They are digging out for the footers.   Remember a few weeks ago Jimmy was here taking compression samples?  Well, the engineers looked at the samples --and the design of the building, etc.... and tell the builder how to prepare the ground - how deep to dig - and even how wide.   Amazing that they can tell so much from looking at some dirt!   Good thing!  Otherwise we would have buildings toppling over all around us, lol.

My batteries are all charged up -  here is a pic of what they are doing:

That is Buddy and Gilbert (wearing cap) standing by the machinery.   Gilbert is with Stock Building Supply , and said that his company is handling about 90% of the materials being used on this project.  90%!  

These downtown units are going to be amazing :)   You couldn't ask for a better location!    Take advantage now of the 'pre-construction' prices while they are still being offered!!  I was joking with the builder (Buddy Stevens) earlier that I wanted one of the penthouse units.....and that maybe we could work something out if I sold a few, hehehe.  Actually--- all kidding aside -  I would love to live here :)
