Not much to report on Park Place - they are just finishing up the forms etc...... should be pouring the support walls and slab soon. I'll be away from the office for the next couple of days - I hope I don't miss anything!
Isn't it amazing how many people are involved in the process of new construction - and how even just one building project helps to boost the economy.
In this case so far there has been a demolition crew, engineers, sample taker, pest control, utility marker guy, foundation company, ummmm - I'm sure I missed a few..... and more to come. Think about the trickle down from just one load of lumber for instance - all the businesses affected by the purchase. From the logging company all the way to the diesel fuel to operate the mixer/delivery truck! That's alot of businesses/companies making money! Yaaay!!
Now, imagine if this one load of lumber put the company over it's max and they had to hire a new employee. The new guy moves here from out of town and needs to buy a house!!! Yaaay!! We know the amount of people that one settlement/closing helps out!! The Realtor - her assistant, the Closing Attorney--his paralegal, title searcher......, the Home Inspector, the Heating & Air inspector, the Well inspector, the Surveyor, the Pest Control Company...not to mention the insurance company, ... and if financing is involved - well, the list just goes on & on ..... !! :)
I have been truly enjoying the entire process of the construction.
I am learning something new all the time - and can't wait till the framing starts! Then we will really start to see something :)
Here is what's coming our way!!

Give me a call for more info on these great downtown condo units.
Pre-construction prices won't last!!
2 Bedroom/2 Bath: $429,000
3 Bedroom/2 Bath: $489,000
You couldn't ask for a better location than this! Perfectly Downtown :) If you are thinking about a 'Southern get-away' ---- this would be ideal! A place to get away to -- a place for family and friends to get-away to..... You could even make a few bucks and rent it out for Master's week (next year... (if you weren't coming down for the tourny)
Give a call! Be sure to let me know you saw my blog :) Jane Page and I are looking forward to helping you.

Kara, I'm still waiting for pictures of the roofers...my favorite stage of construction, particularly in the summer! LOL Very sexist, but great eye candy!!
Hey Kara I hope you don't miss anything important, LOL. Have a great couple days away and I hope you get surprised with a big improvement in your views when you get back!
Hey Laura - I know you're waiting on the roofers, lol - me too! Give them some time -- they just poured the support walls this morning - shouldn't be long now before the framing starts.
Hi Paddy - hope you are well. I had to pass by the office this morning and saw the big concrete pumper truck there --- no time to stop and take a pic though. Next time, lol.
